Minor Gold (Tracy McNeil and Dan Parsons) have been touring up a storm in the US over the last couple of months, performing songs from their self-titled debut album. Now they bring their harmony-rich folk and country sounds back to Australia for a comprehensive run of dates, running from this weekend in Newcastle, through to the Thirroul Music Festival in early December.

To celebrate, they’ve today released the new video clip for their fifth single ‘Tumbleweed‘, a song that skips along on a light country-funk feel with that glorious CSN shimmering uplift, perfect for the Australian springtime. In our album review we also described the song as ‘a tropical soft rock reimagining of Paul Simon.’

The clip finds the pair soaking up the sights and sounds, beaches, stages, long highways and cultural landscape of North America, indeed rolling across it like a veritable tumbleweed.
