Fallow Fields continue their run of impressive singles with the sweet and catchy sound of ‘When Your Love is Over‘, out on streaming services on July 29th and taken from their forthcoming debut album Rocky Head Road.

Rachel Simmons’ voice has a touch of Dolly in this delightful classic country track, with a melodic pop streak running through it.

Written in the middle of a fight, Rachel sat down at the piano and sang this song at partner Danna Simmons in what may be the most hilarious and passive-aggressive move of all time. Rachel explains, “this song is a reminder that you don’t need to Stand By Your Man… you’re more than your relationship and that while saying goodbye is difficult, sad and sometimes lonely, it’s more important to be true to yourself than live through someone else.”

The fun video clip finds Rachel and friends cutting loose on a day out, celebrating independence and sisterhood.
