Robert Ellis won a ton of new fans with his tour at the start of the year supporting Justin Townes Earle and on the back of his excellent debut LP Photographs. Now he is returning to Australia for an appearance at the Mullumbimby Music Festival and a run of solo dates with Cory Chisel and Marlon Williams. Wisconsin native Chisel has recently released his second LP Old Believers with his band The Wandering Sons while New Zealander Marlon Williams, who recently relocated to Melbourne, garnered much acclaim for his old band The Unfaithful Ways and the album Sad but True – The Secret History of Country Music Songwriting Vol. 1 he recorded with Delaney Davidson which won best country album and best country song at the 2013 New Zealand Country Music Awards.
