As part of the 2015 OXJAM Music Festival the Petersham Bowling Club is presenting OXJAM Inner Western featuring musicians from the local Americana banding together to raise money to support OXFAM’s efforts to reduce world poverty.
Now in Australia & started in the UK in 2006, Oxjam is a month-long party against poverty where music lovers from all over the country curate their own gigs for good. More than 50,000 musicians have played to more than a million people at thousands of venues.
And the best bit? Every dollar raised at OXJAM is going directly to help fight global poverty.
“Here at the PBC we believe implicitly in the power of community, in fact it defines us, so we’re bringing together some of our favourite inner western roots musicians to help raise funds & awareness of the issue of global poverty” – Mark Lucas
