Pegi Young is back with her second solo LP Raw, her first since she divorced from her long-term husband Neil Young. Here’s the first single from it – ‘Too Little Too Late’.

Raw begins with a song clearly addressed to her ex, ‘Why’, with the refrain “Why’d you have to ruin my life,”. The rest of the songs include co-writes with Spooner Oldham and guitarist Kevin Holly and covers such as Otis Clay’s ‘Trying to Live My Life Without You’, Dolly Parton’s ‘Do I Ever Cross Your Mind’, ‘Randy Van Warmer’s ‘Just When I Needed You Most’ and a fresh and fun take on the Nancy Sinatra-associated ‘These Boots Are Made for Walkin”.

One notable new addition to her band The Survivors is ex-Drive-By Trucker Shonna Tucker.

Young’s new album Raw will be released on February 17th, 2017.
