Jason Walker little introduction to Sydney audiences, with a pedigree of decades in the indie and alt-country scenes he’s built up a well earned respect from the industry built on strong songwriting, in-demand pedal steel playing and a rich body of song interpretation. Last year Jason released All-Night Ghost Town, his acclaimed first release for the Lost Highway record label. The poetry of Townes Van Zandt, Blaze Foley, Gram Parsons and Guy Clark runs deep in Jason’s songs, both honouring and continuing the legacy of those and many other songwriters.

Joining Jason at Red-Eyed and Blue will be acclaimed singer/songwriter Tim Easton who is currently touring Australia (presented by Mother Hen Touring) for the second time. Tim is an incredible guitarist, singer and songwriter, navigating blues, folk and country music. He’s played shows with Lucinda Williams, John Hiatt and Steve Earle and recorded a number of albums including one with most of Wilco as his backing band. His most recent album American Fork was awarded 4/5 stars by Uncut Magazine.

As usual the Post To Wire Jukebox will be spinning alt-country, Americana, folk, blues and rock ’n’ roll tunes between sets.
