Marlon Williams’ long anticipated second album now has a title and a release date. Make Way For Love will be released on February 18th, three after his self-titled debut. In that time he’s toured constantly, pausing only to write the new album and make a foray into acting. Williams recently released ‘Vampire Again’, the first single from the Make Way For Love and today he’s released the second; the heavy, slow-dance swoon of ‘Nobody Gets What They Want Anymore’ (feat. Aldous Harding).
Make Way For Love was recorded with Grammy award winning producer Noah Georgeson (The Strokes, Joanna Newsom, Devendra Banhart), and Marlon’s backing band, The Yarra Benders, in North Califorina’s Panoramic Studios after several weeks of pre-production in his native Lyttleton, New Zealand with regular collaborator Ben Edwards.
In May 2018 Williams will return for an Australian tour including The Weather Station:
