Today’s new music find comes from Winnipeg-born, Brooklyn-based musician Devon Church of Exitmusic. He has a solo album called We Are Inextricable coming out on October 25th and right now you can listen to two of the tracks, ‘Chamomile’ and the title track, via Bandcamp and also over on Spotify and Apple Music.

Both are achingly beautiful slow dances through hazy landscapes, ghost folk of a kind, with links to the sound of Mark Lanegan, Nick Cave and Leonard Cohen. It’s dark, poetic and atmospherically ornate music.
