Heavenly harmonies abound on this beautiful piece of country folk from The Sweet Water Warblers from Michigan. There’s an ethereal, night sky atmosphere to the song, the ghosts of Appalachia drifting high in the aether as the voices of Rachael Davis, Lindsay Lou, and May Erlewine intertwine soulfully and harmonically in unison with guest Maya De Vitry, who co-wrote their new album.
The song comes from their forthcoming album The Dream That Holds This Child, set for release in May. The trio are also currently crowdfunding to raise funds to cover the cost of the album and its release. Head HERE to check it out and contribute.
“This song is about connecting to a deeper source, a reminder that we are feeling hearts moving through this world. Sometimes really living, really loving, really grieving… lies in our ability to listen to ourselves and each other.”
