Adelaide artists Matt Ward and Taasha Coates (The Audreys) have teamed up to record a new Matt Ward-written single ‘Two To Tango‘, out now on Bandcamp and streaming services via Heartland Music Australia.

Musically, the song possesses a gentle swing and sway, bolstered by the gentle pedal steel serenade that adds a late-night dreaminess to the song’s country-rock slow dance – continuing the grand tradition of Gram and Emmylou.

On his Tower of Song radio show, Henry Wagons said of the single, “the best twangy duets come from a couple of singers that you know have a life story behind the narrative they’re spinning. There needs to be weight behind the words in a duet and that is the case for Matt Ward and Taasha Coates.”

Ward is currently recording music with both The Rising Sons in Adelaide and a studio album with Matt Fell in Tasmania, with plans to release a new full-length album in 2024.
