The Deslondes are a New Orleans five-piece country-soul/honky-tonk band that have been getting about the US supporting Old Crow Medicine Show of late. As soon as they are done with that they’ll be heading back to the Nashville studio to finish their debut LP which will be coming out on New West Records early in 2015.

The Deslondes are songwriters Sam Doores and Riley Downing plus pedal steel-fiddle player John James, bassist Dan Cutler and percussionist-vocalist Cameron Snyder. The Deslondes list their influences as including Woody Guthrie, Hank Williams, Townes Van Zandt, Blaze Foley, John Prine, The Band and Allen Toussaint.
