Heartbreaker Sessions has been building nicely over the first two evenings and this weekend (Sunday, Sept 6th) should be another great evening of live performance, DJs, craft beer and food.
LIVE PERFORMANCES
Darren Cross needs little introduction with 20+ years in the Australian music scene from his early days in Gerling though to his current solo work and folk-noir duo Jep and Dep. With two EPs, a number of music videos and a forthcoming album Cross is a prolific artist who will be previewing tracks from the aforementioned record and injecting some black humour into the evening. For fans of Townes Van Zandt (Townes Van Zandt Central), Steve Earle, Neil Young etc.
William Crighton is a relative newcomer who has been garnering rave reviews and word-of-mouth praise for his live performances over the last 12 months. There is a distinct Australian quality to his alt. country songwriting and performance, blending strong melody with brooding intensity. Not to be missed!
Plus DJ sets from yours truly – the Post To Wire Jukebox.
