I came across this beautiful slice of soulful Americana, the single from Freddy & Francine, a duo out of Nashville (previously based in L.A). The song comes from their recently released EP Moonless Night, produced by Dan Knobler (Lake Street Dive). The track gently rolls along on a bass line straight of Stax Records and a clipped electric guitar. The show stealer is Lee Ferris’ vocal, Honeyed and rich in hits you straight in the heart, the song swelling to an even greater sum of its parts when combined with Bianca Caruso’s voice.
