Small Feet is the moniker of Simon Stålhamre, a Stockholm based artist, producer and songwriter and Ice Storm is a recently released single that finds a wonderful place between the lonesome sound of Neil Young and the avant folk of Chad Van Gaalen and Sparklehorse. Expect a new full length in 2019.
I started crying when the insight dawned on me. It was catharsis. Not really in a sad way, it was just an incredibly powerful and overwhelming revelation. I’d just become a father, and having a child made me realize that, for the first time in my life, I had something constant in my life that I could and would not flee from. Ice Storm is a meditation on that, finding some sort of inner peace through attachment.
