A laidback sway of a song with some ghostly heartworn pedal steel and a fine ache of a vocal are the hallmarks of this new track from Robert Chaney, an American songwriter based in London.

Chaney says about ‘Before I Go‘… “This is that 4am energy, when you’re hanging with someone special and you don’t know which way it’s gonna go. When you want it to go one way in particular but you’re not quite sure how to say so. For all my fellow shy ones.”

The single follows his other 2020 release ‘Breath‘.

Chaney is also the co-host of Definitely Dylan, a weekly radio program on London’s Resonance 104.4FM exploring the work of Bob Dylan in a modern context.
