Fans of James Ellis & The Jealous Guys, Charley Crockett, Dale Watson and Michael Carpenter & The Banks Brothers will dig the top-notch playing and honky tonk sound on this new Cory Grinder & The Playboy Scouts single from their forthcoming new LP Honky Tonkin’ Beauty Supreme available June 11th 2021.

Cory and the band have already released a couple of albums and by the looks of it, done a ton of touring around the US. It sounds like they think outside the country box too – doing tribute shows to the band Ween, performing “Twelve Golden Country Greats”. With their reputation growing, Dale Watson invited them to perform as his backing band for a set at legendary Texas venues The Broken Spoke and Continental Club.
