LUCINDA WILLIAMS ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM, RELEASES NEW SINGLE WITH BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN

Lucinda Williams is currently in Australia, playing Bluesfest and some headline shows and today we have some exciting news that she’s announced her new album Stories From A Rock N Roll Heart (June 30th) and released the first single ‘New York Comeback‘, featuring Bruce Springsteen and Patti Scialfa.

Williams’ long awaited memoir Don’t Tell Anybody The Secrets I Told You will be published on April 25th.

The new single is a chugging, mid-tempo rock track, spacious as Williams alludes to the twilight of a career and the changing role of the artist and performer.

Stories from a Rock n Roll Heart was produced by Williams, Overby and Ray Kennedy, who also engineered. The album includes guest backing vocals by Jeremy Ivey, Jesse Malin, Buddy Miller, Angel Olsen, Margo Price and Tommy Stinson (see track listing below).
